The Hospitality Rebuild

A new venue website in two weeks. Your staff run it from a phone. You own it.

For venues that were told they could manage their own website and are still scared to touch it. $3,000 plus GST, fixed. A year of hosting and two months of search setup included.

    What I've built

See it before you read about it.

    Bennie's Cafe & Bistro

Harbourside all-day cafe-bistro, Circular Quay. Launched August 2026. Sixteen admin screens: menus per service, events, gallery, reviews, enquiries, staff roles, version history, search health.

    Other builds

When I ran an AI search audit on the Bennie's build, it came back unusually more visible than other venue sites in its industry.

One audit on one build. AI answers vary; no placement is guaranteed.

    Sound familiar?

If any of this is you, keep reading.

    • You log in to change one sentence and leave without touching anything.
    • One dish changes. Three menus and a PDF need updating.
    • Your events live on Instagram because the website means briefing someone and waiting.
    • You have a login. You still can't make the change you need.
    • You'd leave the platform tomorrow if it didn't mean starting from nothing.
    • A monthly maintenance fee you couldn't explain.
    • 'I'll check with the developer.' Three times, for the same change.
    • Guests ask an AI assistant where to eat. Your menu is a PDF it can't read.

    What changes

Your website stops being a job.

    • A price change takes a minute, from a phone.

Open the dish, change the price, save. The site updates in seconds. No developer, no PDF, no link to check.

    • One menu, in one place.

Menus per service, drag and drop, photos, prices. Upload a new PDF and the old one archives itself. Or upload the printed menu and the site reads it, proposes the changes and flags what's gone.

    • Events that sell themselves.

Every event gets its own page with a booking panel that follows the guest down the screen, one-tap add to calendar, and it turns itself off when the night has passed.

    • Your booking system stays.

Whatever you use for reservations now is wired into the site. Connected, not replaced.

    • Your staff, with the right access.

Invite the team as editors. Only you can delete things. Every save is a version you can restore.

    • Readable by search engines and AI assistants.

Menus as real text, structured data for the restaurant panel, a sitemap that updates itself, and plain-language files written for AI assistants.

    On the call

I'll open a demo venue back office and change a menu price in front of you. Then I'll show you where it changed on the live site. If your team can do that, and they can, they can run the rest.

    The offer, in full

One price. Two weeks. Yours at the end.

    Turnaround

    • A new site designed from the ground up around your venue. Phones first, because that's where your guests are.
    • It runs on my hospitality CMS. Menus, events, opening hours, gallery, reviews, enquiries. Your staff update it from a phone.
    • Your booking system stays. It's connected, not replaced.

    Included. No extra cost.

    • Two months of search setup after launch.

Structured data checked, Google Business Profile aligned, Search Console submitted, AI-assistant files published, and a check at week four and week eight of what's indexing. Setup and checking. No ranking is promised.

    • A year of hosting.

After that it's $500 a year. There's no monthly retainer.

    • Your staff shown the back office at handover.

A price change or a new event becomes a two-minute job for whoever is on shift.

    • The code, the database and the guide.

Yours, with the code, data and instructions needed for a practical handover.

Not included: online ordering, loyalty programs, POS or table-management integrations, additional languages. If you need them, they're scoped separately.

At handover you get the code, the database and a guide to how the site works.

Two weeks starts the day I have your logo, photos, menus and booking link.

    What happens when you book

    Four steps. No surprises.

    01

    The call

Thirty minutes on your current site. I show you the back office, we agree what's in scope, and you get the price in writing. It's the same price that's on this page.

    02

    The build

Two weeks from the day I have your assets. You see it before it goes live and you get a round of changes.

    03

    Handover

Your staff are shown the back office. You get the code, the database and the guide.

    04

    Two months of search setup

Structured data, Google Business Profile, Search Console, AI-assistant files, and a check at week four and week eight of what's indexing.

    Questions

    Straight answers.

No. At handover you get the code, the database and a guide to how it works. Your staff run the day-to-day from a phone. If you ever want another developer, there's a proper handover for them too.

Then look at the list at the top of this page. If none of it was you, this isn't for you. If one or more of it was, book the call.

It's $3,000 plus GST with a year of hosting, then $500 a year and no monthly retainer. Put that next to what you pay now for the platform, the plugins, the maintenance fee and the web guy, over three years. Bring the numbers to the call and we'll do it together.

You'll have less. A price change or a new event becomes a two-minute job for whoever is on shift, instead of a task that waits for you.

For two months after launch I do the search setup and check what's indexing. After that, hosting is $500 a year and the site runs itself. New features are scoped separately when you want them.

Two weeks from the day I have your logo, photos, menus and booking link. The build is quicker than that. The two weeks is room for your feedback.

Yes. You receive the code, the database and the instructions needed for a practical handover.

    Who this is for

Venues that already have a website, and are stuck with it.

Cafes, restaurants, bars and venues on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or a template with a booking widget bolted on. If your site is one of those and you recognised yourself at the top of this page, book the call.

Not for venues that need online ordering, loyalty, POS or table-management integration as part of the build. Those are scoped separately.

On Squarespace or Wix, agency-built? There's a page for exactly that →
